Texas Parent To Parent

Texas Parent to Parent is committed to improving the lives of Texas children who have disabilities, chronic conditions and/or special health care needs. We accomplish this by empowering families to be strong advocates through parent to parent support, resource referral and education, and by educating professionals about the unique needs of the needs of these children.

Description:
Texas Parent to Parent is a nonprofit organization that was created by parents to provide support and information for families of children with disabilities, chronic illness and other special healthcare needs throughout the state of Texas. The majority of our Board of Directors and staff are parents of children with disabilities or chronic illness. Our staff and volunteers have many years' experience in providing parent to parent support.

History:
We received our non-profit status in January of 2002. We have been providing support and information for families of children with disabilities, chronic illness or other special health care needs ever sense.
