American Foundation for Suicide Prevention raises funds for awareness and education to prevent suicides in America. Please visit www.outofthedarkness.org for information on the walk at the Capitol grounds, Saturday, September 12 @ 9:00 a.m.

Description:
Out of the Darkness walk is a 3 K walk at the State capitol in Austin Texas to raise awareness and funds to help in the fight to prevent losing the 32,000 + lives in the US to suicide

History:
Founded 1984 and 88% of the funds go towards education and training in the field of suicide prevention
