Next To New Consignment Shop

We are a non profit consignment shop staffed by a volunteers. Our profits are returned to local charities in the Austin Area. We are here to raise money for the preservation of the historical facilities of St David's Church, as well as fund grants from Austin Charities through the church's Outreach program.

Description:
Next To New is a resale shop that has been in operation for 50 years. By consigning items in good condition with Next To New, a person is able to take a tax deduction as well as receive a check for 50% of the sale of the item. Next To New specializes in managing sales for people who are moving, downsizing, or settling and estate. Because we are staffed by volunteers, Next To New has donated more than $2,000,000 tO charitable concerns in the Austin area.

History:
Next To New was founded by a group of ladies from St David's Episcopal Church in 1959. The shop operated for 30 years on Lavaca St. in downtown Austin before moving to Burnet Rd. In 2007 we were able to buy our own building, and during the month of June we moved to 5435 Burnet Rd.
