A*Med Community Hospice's mission is to provide a high quality, comprehensive, palliative program dedicated to promoting comfort and quality of life for clients and families facing a terminal illness.

Description:
In recognition that facing a life-limiting disease is much more than a physical experience, A*Med Community Hospice utilizes and interdisciplinary team approach to provide services for their clients and families. As human beings, we experience emotional and spiritual losses as well as physical during the dying process. Through meeting the numerous needs of the clients and families, we strive to enable the client to live life to the fullest extent possible and the family to adjust to life after their loss.

History:
A*Med Community Hospice began in 1993 in Texas City, Texas. A*Med was one of the fastest growing hospices in the Houston area, and presently A*Med covers 12 counties in Texas and has 5 offices. Our Austin location provides care for patients and families in Williamson, Travis, Bastrop, and Hays counties.
