To provide affordable opportunities for people to discover the delights of Africa

2 Way Travel is based in Cape Town, South Africa and we specialise in community service / volunteer tourism. Our primary vision is to make tangible contributions towards addressing the injustices caused by South Africa’s Apartheid government through social upliftment and transformational tourism. To this end, we provide opportunities for groups to truly experience South African life through exploring the physical beauty, meeting amazing people, participating in township home stays, thereby supporting local families and learning about a uniquely diverse culture.

History:
2 Way Travel was started at the beginning of 2006 by Michael Gathercole. He is a passionate South African who wants to see change taking place within our developing country. We now have a growing team of committed personnel and have had numerous groups come to volunteer in South Africa with us, including Villanova University, Ambassadors for Children, Chestnut Hill Academy, Pittsburgh University and others.

Through these volunteer groups we have been able to make valuable and lasting contributions towards different children's home and community-based projects and organisations.
