Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on January 20, 2009 |
Support service volunteers are vital to the day to day running of the Angel Heart Hospice office. There are numerous tasks that we need assistance with--filing, making patient charts, making referral packets, updating community services database, and many more...This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to support the terminally ill and their families but may not want to have personal interaction. The clinical staff and direct care volunteers honestly could not do the work with the patients without the support of the office staff and volunteers. For support service volunteers, we have a mandatory 3 hour orientation---and you are welcome to participate in the full 12 hour orientation. Of course you will also be trained on the tasks you are performing. This opportunity is sponsored by: Angel Heart Hospice
