The Settlement Home for Children is interested in adult females to serve as mentors to female residents ages 7-18. Mentors are matched with one child to build a corrective healthy relationship. Mentors visit the child on their unit and participate in recreation activities together. We are interested in individuals over 21 years old who can make a one year commitment and are available for 6 - 8 hours a month during evenings and weekends. In accordance with Texas licensing standards volunteers must complete a drug test, TB test, driving record check, and background check.  This opportunity is sponsored by: The Settlement Home
