Volunteer opportunities are available with Youth InterACTIVE! Our after school service opportunities for volunteers include, but are not limited to, one-on-one tutoring, mentoring, and teaching health and fitness based classes to youth in grades kindergarten-fifth, enrolled in the Austin Independent School District. Our event opportunities for volunteers include, ACTIVE Field Days on April 26, 2007 and May 3, 2007 between the hours of 1:00pm and 6:00pm. We also have opportunities for office related skills such as copying, filing, creating fliers, research, and much more.
Youth InterACTIVE, through its programs and events, combats childhood obesity, improves post-high school success, and increases volunteerism within youth culture. Our programs have been running in Austin since 2004, with a goal of increasing children’s success in school and life.
Volunteers should be committed, enjoy working with kids, and have a positive attitude.  This opportunity is sponsored by: ACTIVE Life
