Make a difference in your community and fight breast cancer. The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures. We need volunteers to help spread our mission and raise awareness of breast cancer and early detection. Of the funds raised, 75% stay in the 5 county service areas to provide breast health services such as free mammograms and outreach while the remaining 25% is sent directly to Komen National for breast cancer research grants.

Komen Austin has numerous volunteer opportunities from helping at the largest 5K Race in Austin – Race for the Cure, attend special events, help with PR, finance, website, keychain assembly and MUCH more! The Austin Affiliate has volunteer opportunities for individuals, small and large groups.
