Make a difference in your community and fight breast cancer at the largest 5K Race in Austin! The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures. Of the funds raised, 75% stay in the 5 county service areas to provide breast health services such as free mammograms and outreach while the remaining 25% is sent directly to Komen National for breast cancer research grants.

We need Race volunteers to help throughout the month of October to stuff Race packets, help with walk up registration, set up tables/chairs, hang banners, etc. We need lots of help the last week in October and from Fri, 10/31, Sat 11/1 and Race Day 11/2. Komen Austin can accommodate individuals, small and large groups. Tell your friends!
