Help middle and high school students develop reading skills and become life-long readers! Partners in Literature volunteers lead student groups in discussions of high-interest short stories, poetry, and non-fiction articles to promote reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. A team of volunteers is in the classroom for 45 minutes once a week during Language Arts classes. Each volunteer works with a small group of 3 to 5 students. The teacher is always in the classroom to provide support. All materials and training are provided.
