Blackland Community Development Corporation provides affordable housing for homeless families and low-income families and senior citizens in East Austin. We are currently rehabbing five units to be used as affordable housing. We need about 5 volunteers each Saturday morning to help work on those houses. Volunteers are encouraged to bring tools if they have them but no experience or skills are required--just an interest in learning and doing basic construction.
