Blackland Community Development Corporation provides affordable housing for homeless families and low-income families and senior citizens in East Austin. We are currently rehabbing five units to be used as affordable housing. We need about 5 volunteers each Saturday morning to help work on those houses. Volunteers are encouraged to bring tools if they have them but no experience or skills are required--just an interest in learning and doing basic construction. We need volunteers who are free at these times
Weekends
This volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers

Individual  Young Adults (18-25)
