Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I first started to volunteer at Ten thousand Villages of Austin about two years ago. I use my art talents to repair items broken in shipment or at the store. I have become more involved with Ten Thousand Villages and have joined the Board of Directors. I am now trying to help the organization grow.

Ten thousand Villages of Austin is looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer Board members and committee members to help us oversee the operations of a non-profit, fair trade store. Ten Thousand Villages is a store that is dedicated to providing vital, fair income for artisans by providing a marketplace to sell their handicrafts The mission of the Ten Thousand Villages of Austin is to help eradicate poverty in over thirty developing countries.
