Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who would like to assist us in grant development for the organization. This person may have some prior knowledge of the grant application & writing process, but what is most important is the desire to learn, excellent research skills and an interest in the mission of Prevent Blindness Texas. We are a small branch office here in Austin, and the chance to gain valuable experience at PBT is huge!

We are looking for a student who would like to gain skills in the grantwriting field; internship credit is possible. Some characteristics of this volunteer might include: excellent writing, speaking, proofreading, and listening skills; success in planning, prioritizing and coordinating multiple projects; organizational skills; ability to do independent research online and analyze data; ability to work as a team player.
