Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers will be in charge of picking up sorted books from our offices on Greenbrook Parkway and delivering them to clinics. Can be adjusted with your schedule - however sorted boxes must be picked up at our offices between M - F (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Sorted book boxes to clinic can be delivered at your convenience and in conjunction with clinic hours. The responsibilities of this opportunity will be expanded to include putting books out on waiting room shelves.

Ability to transport books to clinics (own transportation)
Ability to lift 20 lbs at a time

We are located on the campus of Blanton Elementary School, in the two blue portable buildings nearest the playground. If you’re coming from the north: Take I35 South from 183 to 290 East. From 290, take the Berkman exit. Go south on Berkman. Turn left on Rogge. Turn right on Westminster. Turn right on Greenbrook Parkway. If you’re coming from the south: Take I35 North. Exit 51st Street and immediately move to right lane of access road. Turn right on Barbara Jordan Blvd. Turn left on Lancaster. Turn right on 51st Street. Turn left at Berkman.
