Teach children about the Colorado River in Texas (aka Lady Bird Lake and Lake Austin) and water conservation! With the help of other volunteers, educational docents lead groups of 15 students through our beautiful outdoor Redbud Park facilities. With hands-on activities and educational games, you teach children about the water cycle, water conservation, water sources and watersheds, and the history and geography of the Colorado River in Texas. Get ready to meet the amazing science enthusiasts who already volunteer with us! Volunteers need to complete a volunteer application with background check.
