Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Front Steps has started our very first Chess Club! We are in need of chess volunteers who consider themselves "expert" or "advanced". The skill level of our clients ranges from beginner to very advanced.

We need a small group of devoted volunteers to teach a short beginner class and then hold tournaments for the more advanced players.
This is a great opportunity to interact with clients and help them learn strategy and build confidence, in both their chess playing game and in their everyday lives.

Currently, Chess Club is on Saturdays from 1-3, but times are flexible.
