Goodwill's Job Source Program offers assistance through various programs for persons seeking entry into the workforce who have a disadvantaging condition, such as limited access to employment, education, housing or health care.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of projects. Tasks will depend on volunteer's interest, but may include the following:

  • Creating informational/resource packets for clients
  • Providing job search assistance to clients who are looking for employment in Goodwill computer labs and assisting clients with online applications, creating resumes and cover letters, setting up e-mail accounts, and troubleshooting
  • Providing clerical support to staff; Making copies, faxing documents, organizing files, entering data, greeting walk-in clients, assisting with mailings and answer phones
  • Providing information to walk-in clients about Goodwill's programs and other community agencies
  • Hours are flexible between 8:00 and 5:00 Monday through Friday.

    Knowledge of computers and office equipment required. Completion of basic college coursework in Business, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
