A volunteer is desired to administer the Texas Adult Basic Education tests to potential students. Testing is typically held the first and third Monday of each month at 1:00pm and at 5:30pm and lasts three hours. Potential students are tested in Reading and Math to determine if they are eligible for the programs offered at The Austin Academy. It is a great opportunity to interact with prospective students and to learn to administer the Texas Adult Basic Education tests. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and must agree to a criminal background check. The volunteer must be available up to two Mondays per month for approximately three hours.
