Docent Volunteers lead guided tours of the Museum's exhibits for a diverse audience of adult visitors. By using specific presentation techniques, Docents enhance the visitor's experience by making the Story of Texas meaningful and memorable.

Volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Orientation. Please call the Volunteer Department for more information.

 Traveling by IH35, exit Martin Luther King, go west on MLK to North Congress Avenue,then turn south at the Museum which is located at MLK and Congress. Parking is available in our underground garage which is entered from the south side of the Museum(18th Street).
