The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's mission is to help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them. One way the Texas Regional Office of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children accomplishes this is by holding training events for law enforcement, school administrators/staff members, and parents/guardians throughout the year. We also participate in community events promoting child safety. We need eager volunteers to help us guarantee the success of our mission and these events. We need detail orientated individuals to help us put together a help guide for parents. Hours are variable based on the volunteers’ availability. Law students are preferred for this position, but will consider all mature individuals.
All volunteers must pass a background check. This opportunity is sponsored by: The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children's Texas Regional Office
