Volunteer Opportunity Details:

When a woman needs financial assistance with an abortion procedure, she leaves a message on our hotline. Our volunteers are asked to sign up for one day a month when they can check the hotline online and call the women back, from the convenience of the volunteer's own home and own schedule! Our volunteers get the satisfaction of talking directly with women in need and hearing the how thankful these women are for our help. Lilith gives volunteers a chance to go beyond political support and join the frontlines of reproductive justice work by working directly with the women involved in this issue.
Volunteering for Lilith demands little time but gives great rewards!

Our volunteers are asked to attend one short training session of less than 2 hours, which can be arranged at their convenience. They are also welcome and encouraged to shadow another volunteer on a call night before taking calls on their own.
