Junior Achievement of Central Texas teaches financial literacy education to over 13,000 students in Central Texas through the help of over 600 volunteers . The Marathon Relay is our largest fundraiser ensuring that schools receive this program at no cost to teachers. JA still needs 10 Volunteers for the Marathon Relay benefiting Junior Achievement.

This is the nation's second largest stand-alone relay event. This is a great opportunity to volunteer for a great cause and have fun!

When: Sunday, September 27th, 2009 at 7:00am
Where: Auditorium Shores

Volunteers are needed to help in the runners village and at water stops.
Available shifts:
6:30am – 9:30am
9:30pm – 12:30pm

Volunteers should be 18 or older or accompanied by an adult. Volunteer training is September 23rd at RunTex Riverside. Volunteers should plan to attend or make alternative arrangements with Christine Kempff. Volunteers will be outside during entire event and should dress comfortably.
