News   Operation Red River Longhorns, we have been challenged! Major Tobin C. Griffeth, a Texas fan, was deployed to Afghanistan to work with Captain Illingworth, an Oklahoma Sooner. Their rivalry provoked a contest: Prove which university can send more winter clothing and school supplies to impoverished Afghans in remote villages. Send items by November 23rd so that they arrive by December 3rd. As Longhorns, we need to rise to the challenge, and show the Afghan people that our hearts are as big as the Lone Star State.
