Blank T-shirts In Various Colors |
| Description: |
|
We use blank t-shirts in various colors for our bi-annual Clothesline Project. Survivors of abuse and violence, or loved ones of someone who's experienced abuse or violence, write their experiences on a blank t-shirt and then we hang it on a clothesline for others to view and become aware of the epidemic of violence in our community. The colors of the t-shirts have significance and represent a form of abuse/violence. For example, pink, red and orange represents sexual assault. Each semester, there are between 80 to 120 new shirts made. We are in need of red, pink, orange, blue, green, brown, black, purple, gray and yellow t-shirts in any size. They don't need to be new, just in good condition. Thank you. |
