The Volunteer Care Clinic serves those who do not have health insurance and are below the poverty line established by the board. As a pharmacist you will help families receive the full medical care they need to heal their acute conditions. You can help get medication to children like the child who came into our clinic with an ear infection. His family could not afford insurance because his father was in school and his mother could not work because his brother has kidney problems. Only qualified, trained and certified professional pharmacists may volunteer in this position. A completed application (see link below) is required. After a short interview and brief training you can begin volunteering. Licensed volunteer application http://www.unitedwayuc.org/volunteer/pdfs/Licensed Volunteer Application 2009.pdf Return completed applications to the Volunteer Care Clinic office at United Way of Utah County.
