Provo City's Veterans Day Celebration

Provo City's Veterans Day Celebration will be on Wednesday, November 11, at 11 a.m., at the Covey Center for the Arts, 425 W. Center.  Major General Brian Tarbet of the Utah Army National Guard will be the keynote speaker.

 

The theme will be "Women's Contributions to the Military," and Provo City Mayor Lewis Billings will recognize two women for their outstanding service.

The event, which is sponsored by the Provo City Veterans Council and America's Freedom Festival at Provo, is free and open to the public.  A light lunch buffet provided by A Viking's Feast will be served at noon.

 

Military uniforms are encouraged.
