Jeremiah is an outstanding volunteer, his genuine concern for other individuals, needs, feelings, his ability to listen intently, his talent of finding the positive in others and in any given situation along with his gentle demeanor and fun-loving personality. Jeremiah is a kid at heart so it isn't unusual to find him surrounded by children. His patience and understanding temperament enables people to open their hearts to him allowing him to learn about others and meet their needs. Lastly, Jeremiah never expects anything in return or has motives for his own agenda.
Spring of 2007 Jeremiah went with 4 other students and some digital media instructors to establish a digital archive to preserve the Namibian culture and heritage. He and the other students have now bridged a long lasting relationship with the Namibian people and the Digital Media department of Utah Valley University. They have begun a much-needed project that will continue for years to come. Jeremiah is receiving no credit or compensation for his time and efforts he continues to dedicate himself to the project. He firmly believes he and other students of the Digital Media department can make an impact on the Namibian people. This project not only benefits Namibia but also enriches UVU through open communication with other nations, ethnic diversity, and broader horizons in digital advancements.
Jeremiah will be a great asset to his employers due to his great experience as a student at UVU and the opportunity of serving in Namibia. UVU has molded him into an educated and talented digital artist and with his willingness to give his best he will represent UVU well. |
