Agency Details:
Ka Lehulehu O Hawaii
The mission of Ka Lehulehu O Hawaii is to champion others to grow personally, professionally, emotionally and spiritually by using my compassion, my unique perspective, and my belief in others' inherent goodness, integrity, and enormous potential.
Description:
Ka Lehulehu O Hawaii is a private not-for-profit organization inspired by love and compassion. Back in the 1700's in old Hawaii, the Natives lived quietly and cooperative to the rules and regulations of the ruling class. Today, foreign ways of living/surviving has devastated the lands of Hawaii which took away the values of family, desecrating the foundation of a loving home, and destroying the land that feeds us. Many people young and old are struggling to eat and to live. If we can continue to ENDURE through these struggling times and come together as God wants us to do, we could be the blessing that someone needs. We are soldiers of God and we need to organize and execute services to help many in need.
History:
The history of this organization is 5 years old and inspired by our own experiences with God by our side every step of the way. My husband and I experienced many obstacles in our lives together which included homelessness and violence. We didn't have any money to help anyone else but our family, but when we had extra food at our parties or gatherings my family would make plates for the homeless and the hungry and it felt really good to see the appreciation in their smiles. Since then, we were compelled to help anyone in need of help, whether it's financial, spiritual, emotional, physical or social, we are here! That is our promise.
