To Provide Emergency Food Boxes to the needy. Our mission is to help those in the Valley, with an immediate need of food until they can get assistance from a local agency.

Description:
We collect, sort and prepare Emergency Food Boxes to the needy, low-income families, seniors and the disabled. To give an immediate source of food for a couple of days until they can get assistance from a local agency. For the first year or so we will be limited to dry goods only, since we do not have the resources to store perishables. We will be collecting sample sizes of soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. to help in a crisis where families/individuals have been displaced.

History:
A local church was helping the needy out of a closet for a few years, but are limited to what they can do. So in order to help the whole community, there was a great need to incorporate into a larger organization in order to meet the needs, this August 2005. The need for food boxes is great in the valley, but we are not limited to who receives help.
