The Ballston-Virginia Square Partnership is a public-private organization of
citizens, real estate professionals, businesses, civic and condominium
associations, educational institutions and non-profits with the mission of
promoting and enhancing the Ballston and Virginia Square areas as desirable
communities in which to live, learn, work, shop and play.
SERVICES BARCS PROVIDES TO THE COMMUNITY
• Providing care and finding homes for impounded, stray, abused, and
surrendered animals.
• Educating the public about responsible animal ownership and the importance of
spaying and neutering.
• Tracking lost and found animals and providing a central location for city
residents to search. . .
The mission of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center is to provide all reported
victims of child sexual abuse and their non-offending caretakers with
comprehensive interview, treatment referral and crisis counseling services to
give them the tools they need to repair their lives. more
