The Arlington Soccer Association is looking for coaches for recreational teams (ages 6-7 are coed teams and ages 8-14 are boys or girls teams). We particularly need coaches in South Arlington. Coaches can offer to be in charge of a team, or just help someone else. Most teams are formed for the players to learn the game and to have fun. This is not the place for the ultra-competitive coaches.
Games for the spring season will begin on April 12, with most teams starting to practice a week or 2 before then. Games on Saturdays and practice(s) during the week continue until the first part of June. Most teams will have one practice a week (1 hour) and one game on Saturday (1 hour). Teams hold practices in areas where players live and games are held at set locations throughout Arlington.
Experience playing or coaching soccer is great, but not necessary. Coaching clinics, materials and support are available.
