Volunteer as an intern for Arlington's Invasive Plant Program and improve your knowledge about maps, GIS and invasive plants. This position will involve mapping invasive plants in Arlington County parks. The intern will draw polygons on maps and record GPS points in the field and help prepare that data for transfer to GIS.
Some basic computer skills and ability to read topographic maps. Some training provided.
