Are you ready for an emergency? Need to be better prepared? Interested in helping your community in an emergency and with public health outreach? Join the Arlington Medical Reserve Corps if you would like to keep County residents safe in the event of a public health emergency, such as a disease outbreak or a bioterrorist attack. We'll train you on the basics of public health and emergency planning, including a basic orientation, CPR/First Aid, Epidemiology, Incident Command, Infection Control, Mass Medication Distribution, and more.
The new Medical Reserve Corps volunteer orientation is required; all other trainings are optional, though highly recommended.
