Put on your running shoes, or your walking shoes, or even grab your kids and a stroller. Christ Church of Arlington is hosting its annual Arlington Turkey Trot: 5k Fun Run/Walk around the Lyon Park and Ashton Heights neighborhood.
The mission of the Arlington Turkey Trot is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy a fun, healthy Thanksgiving activity together, and to raise support for three local charities: Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless (AACH), Doorways for Women & Families, and Arlington Food Assistance Center.
Last year was such a success and we received such great feedback that this year we expect to have more than 1,500 participants! So join us for this wonderful cause and fun run/walk! We need volunteers to help out before and during the event.
