Looking for a volunteer opportunity with flexible scheduling? Our volunteers use their own vehicles to drive DeKalb County senior citizens to medical appointments. You can choose to drive once a week or once every month or two - we schedule "drives" according to your availability. Most of our seniors live in central to south DeKalb County.
GA law protects our volunteers from liability, and we provide additional volunteer insurance as a back-up.
I CARE drivers often comment that this is the most rewarding experience they have ever had - call us for details!
Our Volunteers must have a good driving record, a valid driver's license and their own insured vehicle, and a willingness to work with seniors. Because we take seniors to medical appointments, our work is done during daytime hours on weekdays.  This opportunity is sponsored by: I CARE INC.
