How Far Do I Walk: Because the walk is in and around Grant Park, you can walk 3.1 miles or any shorter distance you prefer. The Humane walk at 9:30 is 1 mile

To be eligible for prizes, all pledges must be turned in by 9:30 a.m. All funds pledged are due by November 1, 2005 9:30 a.m.
Post Race/Walk Celebration Begins 11:00
Doggy/People Costume Contest Begins 11:15 p.m.

Prizes All participants will be eligible for a drawing to win 30 high-value prizes like a trip for 2 to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, tickets to sporting events, concerts and free dinners.
Contingency Plans The walk will be held Rain or Shine!
Wear appropriate clothing. Under most conditions, the walk will continue. In the event of severe weather (e.g. tornadoes or severe thunder and lightning), the AAA staff may A) temporarily stop the walk by holding you at rest stops or B) cancel the walk. We ask for your cooperation with this policy; your safety is our number one concern.
Super Support
Your day will be filled with pampering, food and great fun! The greatest volunteers in the business will provide support.
Youth Walkers
Under 18
We welcome people of all ages to participate in the Walk for Animals. If you are under 18 years of age you must either be accompanied by a parent or guardian or you must have a signed parental/guardian authorization form that is part of your registration form packet before you can participate.
Waiver
All walkers must sign a waiver form. This waiver may be found on your pledge sheet or pledge envelope.
Where Will The Money Go Funds raised from the Walk for Animals will go directly to the LifeSaver Fund(tm). See www.lifesaverfund.com This program provides financial assistance for indigent animals facing life-threatening medical conditions. Funds for LifeSaver are disbursed throughout the 20-county metro Atlanta region to animal agencies as well as individuals.
