The YWCA of Westren New York provides many services to the community. The services include Childcare, Housing, Youth Programs, Women's Politicial Empowerment, Senior Services and Advocacy.

History:
The YWCA of Western New York has operated continuously in Buffalo since 1870. Its early goal was to seek and provide for the wants of the poor in the city and to furnish a home for girls and young women dependent on their own industry for their support. The YWCA of Western New York is now one of the largest women's and children's service and advocacy organizations in our region, providing a continum of services to women of all ages.
