People Inc. exists so that people with special needs have the support to succeed in an accepting society. We help foster independence and integration into community life, for people with disabling conditions, seniors, and others with long term needs.

Description:
People Inc. touches 10,000 lives in Western New York annually with a wide array of services. We offer community group homes, on-site and integrated day programs, affordable senior housing, primary health care (our Elmwood Health Center),certified and licensed home care, community education, service coordination, and more. People Inc. is the largest nonprofit human services agency in WNY with nearly 2,000 staff and over 100 sites in the community.

History:
We are a relatively young agency (started in 1971 by a group of parents of disabled children), but have grown based on meeting needs and offering new service models. We help people in need become more a part of their communities, and for communities to be more accepting.
