Description:
Ten Thousand Villages provides a marketplace for handicrafts made in over 113 cooperatives in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Artisans set the price for all of their products, covering labor, materials, and a livelihood with dignity. Full payment is paid when an order is shipped. Volunteers staff the store, providing information about our artisan partners and products. Our retail location in Williamsville offers home decor items, stationery and gifts, jewelry, and fairly traded coffee, tea and chocolate.

History:
Ten Thousand Villages in Williamsville has provided a marketplace for fairly traded handicrafts since 1983. The store was first located in Akron, NY and is now open in the Village of Williamsville, at 5596 Main Street.
