Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Weinberg Campus is home to four different day programs for adults: the Adult Day Health Program, Social Day Care, TOTAL Aging in Place Day Center, and Garden Club for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Volunteers at the various day programs assist with a variety of tasks, including: transporting participants, assisting in activities, visiting with participants, and helping serve meals. Day Program Assistants love the variety that they experience when volunteering for a Weinberg Campus Day Program.

An orientation is provided by Weinberg Campus. The respective day program will provide additional training.

A volunteer health physical, Tuberculosis (PPD) test, and criminal background check may be required.

From the I-990: Take the Audubon Parkway exit. Proceed on John James Audubon Parkway to North Forest Road. Turn right and proceed 1/2 mile. Enter at the main entrance (2700 entrance). Park in the visitor parking lot which is immediately on your right as you turn into the campus drive. From Millersport Highway: If going south turn right onto North Forest Road. If going north, turn left onto North Forest Road. Proceed one mile, Weinberg Campus is on the left. Enter at the main entrance (2700 entrance).
