Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Buffalo, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been helping individuals achieve financial self-sufficiency for over 40 years. CCCS of Buffalo, Inc. services the 8 counties of Western New York and has helped over 125,000 individuals handle and manage their personal finances through financial counseling and education assistance.

CCCS of Buffalo, Inc. is looking for a "customer service friendly" individual to assist the First Impressions Department. The First Impressions Department schedules and handles all client appointments while also distributing information to new and current clients on a daily basis. CCCS of Buffalo, Inc. is looking for a friendly, personable individual to greet clients at the waiting room window and collect their payments and paperwork while the First Impression Specialists are scheduling appointments.

Volunteers would be trained by the First Impressions Department to ensure comfort and understanding of the position. Additional duties might also include stuffing envelopes and distributing information on an as-needed basis.

Great communication skills. Able to handle social settings.
