Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are in need of people with some basic maintenance/carpentry skills. We have a part time paid person who cannot do all of the maintenance required in a national historic site such as ours. We need basics such as light bulbs changed (You would be amazed at how many are on the carousel alone!) to the more advanced such as using a saw and hammer. Our paid person is there to supervise and assist in all projects. Projects vary from week to week. We currently have a small but dedicated crew who enjoy each others company as much as working at the museum. They enjoy a sense of accomplishment while socializing.

Volunteers for this position should be interested in fixing and repairing things.
