Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Campaign Assistant will work with the Resource Development staff to support the fundraising efforts of the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County through functions of customer service, information management, and administrative tasks. This is an un-paid volunteer position with flexible hours (1 - 5 days a week between August and December, 2008). Great opportunity for college students, adults returning to workforce, and retirees. Valid driver's license required and will reimburse for mileage and parking.

Volunteers participate in orientation and training programs to acquire knowledge, background and expertise needed to fulfill Campaign Assistant responsibility. Duties include ordering campaign materials, deliver and collect materials from companies, schedule and confirm appointments for United Way staff and Loaned Executives, provide customer service to external and internal customers, documents activities.
