Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Buffalo "Out of the Darkness Community Walk", sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, will take place on September 19, 2009 at Delaware Park.

We need volunteers to help coordinate all aspects of walk preparation and implementation, including walker/team recruitment, publicity, sponsorship, walker communication, volunteer support, logistics, entertainment & programming, medical support, registration & rest stops, and food & beverage.

All potential volunteers must complete a volunteer application and attend a one-hour orientation.
