Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Older adults receiving mental health services at the Del-Nor Resource and Treatment Center, 737 Delaware Ave., greatly enjoy ceramics as a leisure time interest. We have the kiln and supplies but are in need of a volunteer to run a weekly ceramics group on Mondays or Tuesdays. The Del-Nor Center is operated by the Buffalo Psychiatric Center.

For this position, the volunteer should have skills and experience in leading a ceramics group. Interest persons will be registered as a volunteer with the Buffalo Psychiatric Center. An orientation/intake is required of all new volunteers that takes about 1.5 hours. Volunteers should provide a reference and be in good health.
