Volunteer Opportunity Details:

A new exciting program is flying into Niagara County via the Audubon Society. For the Birds is an elementary education program for grades 2-5 that teaches environmental awareness, science and appreciation of nature through the study of birds .It consists of eight sessions that
include classroom lessons, field trips, a live bird program and a project designed to enhance bird habitat in the community. Many levels of volunteering exist including field trips, arts and craft projects, habitat and gardening lead teachers, assistant teachers and classroom helpers, The program makes its debut this Spring at Lewiston-Porter Primary and will run from April 20-June 9 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
