Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Rivendell Recreation Center’s horseback riding therapy program is seeking volunteers, age 14 and older, to assist with horse care and riding lessons for disabled children and adults. Many students have fulfilled their community service hours with us. The center is located at 12469 Warner Hill Road in South Wales, NY. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM beginning April 28th and running through September 26. No classes are held during August. Lessons run on a four week schedule with a week off between sessions. Volunteers are expected to commit to at least a four week session. On the job training will be provided for new volunteers.
