Volunteer Opportunity Details:
The Priscilla Project empowers pregnant refugee and low-income women by connecting each one with a stable, volunteer mentor and by providing education and access to healthcare and other community resources. In order to provide additional support to the women involved and expand their skills or cultural understanding, educational advocates use their personal knowledge or interests to teach a woman a new skill, such as cooking nutritious foods or sewing her family’s clothing. An interview and background check are required. Female volunteers are preferred due to the population served. This opportunity is sponsored by: Jericho Road Ministries
