Volunteers are trained and carry pagers for 12-hour periods. When a survivor presents at an area ER, the volunteer is paged to respond and meet with the survivor to provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, safety planning and linkage to follow-up services. Applicants must be 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
